Is Gambhir the most talented yet underrated cricketer?

When I see Gautam Gambhir and his dedication towards cricket I get inspired. But everytime I feel like he is talented yet underrated cricketer.

Gautam is most prominently a big match player. Who survives pressure? Who tackles it intelligently?

Had it not been for the Gambhir's heroic inning in both 2007 T20 world cup and 2011 50 over world cup, the story might have been different. We may not have been the world champion. And I know many of you would agree to it.

In final of 2011 world cup when likes of Sachin and Sehwag failed to deliver this man stood like a solid rock on the pitch. His partnership with Virat and Dhoni steadied India's drowning ship. As a result of which we celebrated after 28 years.

Apart from these two innings if we research there are plenty other knocks to be talked about. If we look at the 10 years of IPL then he has been one of the greatest performers.

Alright, for once lets forget history. Lets focus on present. In the ongoing IPL of tenth edition he is the orange cap holder till now. Which says a story? This man is in fine touch. This man is a legend.

He seems focused and plays captains inning every time he walks out on field. And if he continues this form till the end of IPL then national selectors need to consider him too. And the intent he has shown gives a hint that he is surely going to make it big.

A very famous quote is doing rounds in social media, which reads

"There might not be a biopic on his life, but
He is the reason for others biopic"

And it is absolutely correct. Gautam Gambhir is a finest unrecognized Indian cricketer who deserves more than what he has got.

Hope time does justice with him and he gets another chance to play in Indian jersey. Keep going Gauti.

We are with you and pray for your long cricketing career.
